Due to succession planning, I'm looking for a Mechanical Associate or Mechanical Associate Director to lead the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical division of this multi-disciplinary firm.

Working closely with the Director or Engineering and also the MD, you'll be responsible for leading the mechanical team, overseeing all projects and continuing to build relationships with existing clients.

You'll work closely with most of the top 15 UK Pharma companies in the UK and lead projects from inception, through design, troubleshooting, commissioning and hand-over.

You'll be supported by a team of bright and committed engineers and enjoy working on ground breaking projects, the majority of which will be the first of their kind in the UK.

You'll use your previous HVAC design knowledge, good coordination skills, understanding of BIM and project management skills to ensure projects get built right first time. As a Senior Mechanical (HVAC) Design Engineer you'll enjoy working on a variety of projects including commercial offices, five-star hotels and large scale residential led, mixed-used developments.

Reporting to a Chartered Mechanical Director, you'll be mentored so that you can step up into a Principal role in the next 12 - 24 months.

As a medium sized, multi-disciplinary consultancy you'll be working closely with the inhouse Civil, Structural and Sustainability Engineers and ensure your HVAC designs are properly coordinated. You'll use your own initiative and project management skills to ensure projects remain on track, both technically and also from a financial control point of view.

You'll take a lead role technically for all Mechanical projects, help mentor the team, attend DTM's and presentations, assist with resource allocation and fee proposals and agree any additional fees or variations with the client.
