This privately owned, building services engineering consultancy develops and retains their employees by only promoting from within, and providing a clear path to Associate, and then Partner.

With over 350 building services design engineers across the UK and Europe, they have enough resources and expertise inhouse, to comfortably design and deliver, a project of any scale. As a privately owned engineering consultancy they pride themselves on the quality of the staff they employ and the quality and level of detail of what they deliver.

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you'll collaborate directly with end-user clients and architects to seamlessly integrate complex electrical services into diverse projects. With MEP as their core business, you'll have a direct reporting line to Director and have a team of capable and enthusiastic design engineers to help support you in ensuring that your projects result in profits, not losses.

Here, the Directors value and respect a work life balance and you won't be consistently pushed to work overtime to try and meet unrealistic profit targets. Your dedication and expertise will be recognised, and you'll be supported to progress to a Partner role within around five to eight years.

What you'll need:

  • At least four (4) years' experience in the built environment, as an Electrical Design Engineer.
  • Good overall understanding of related disciplines such as Mechanical, Public Health, Energy and Sustainability and BIM.
  • Previous experience leading projects and leading and mentoring engineers.
