Requirements:

The MEP team works closely with their Building Surveying teams to survey and report on the condition of Electrical Services, which then lead into full MEP Design & Project Management.

The broad mix of projects that you will work on offers opportunities of travel around the UK and Europe with exposure to a diverse range of property and project types.

Applicant must have Electrical Design experience from within the M&E Building Services industry and be looking to continue their technical skills whilst also developing their commercial and client facing skills.

Design experience is a must but the option to learn how to undertake Electrical Surveys and Energy Audits etc would be taught to the successful candidate.

Having said that, candidates must have a proven ability to work within a team and you should be leading your own projects, in a client facing capacity.

The ability to liaise and communicate effectively is essential, as is the ability to support and explain engineering matters to the building surveyors who you will be working with.

In summary, the MEP team works as part of a property advisor team, contributing to the professional advice given to the client is respect of the investment, refurbishment, purchase or disposal of property.

The role has an open career path and full support will be give across the business for progression to be achieved.

What you'll do:

  • Carry out full detailed design

You will join the project from day one, be site based providing Administrative support to the Directors of a leading Tier 1 Building Services MEP Contractor playing an integral part of this £500m+ build that will keep you busy into 2027 and beyond.

Duties will include and not be limited to:

  • Overseeing Document Controllers ensuring all paperwork is up to date and accurate.
  • Front Desk Operations managing calls and greeting and assisting visitors.
