Environmental Modeller ( Building Physics ) - To £50K Package
Due to a recent promotion, I'm looking for an Environmental Modeller (Building Physics Consultant / Building Physics Engineer).
As a key member of the Advanced Building Simulation Team, you'll work with a team of Building Physics experts, and enjoy a diverse role of dynamic thermal modelling, building energy performance studies, thermal comfort studies, façade performance and optioneering and microclimatic studies.
In addition to compliance modelling and standard methodologies such as Part L, BB101, TM52, TM54, TM59, TM65, you'll also get involved in automation, scripting using Grasshopper etc and digital development. This will include developing custom analysis methodologies and developing new tools to meet unique project requirements.
In addition to saving a large percentage of company profit to fund, pure R&D projects; this global leader in green building design is committed to promoting a circular economy.
As an Environmental Modeller here you'll be exposed to a broad range of projects ( ie multiple sectors) and get to work on projects from feasibility right through to Post Occupancy Evaluations. And what's really interesting is that the majority of the buildings you will work on will actually operate very similar in operation, as they were anticipated to operate during the early design and simulation stages of the project.
In return they offer flexible working (both in terms of work form home and flexible hours), ongoing training and development, the option of a nine-day fortnight and 25 days leave as standard.
Requirements
Above all, a genuine interest in NZC Building Design and a good attitude
