Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services) - Birmingham - to £55K 7.5% Pension, BUPA, 10% Bonus
Human Capital Solutions are working in partnership with the MEP team within the world's leading Commercial Property Consultancy, who advise on all aspects of commercial property to help their clients understand and realise the true M&E value of their property.
Operating within Building Consultancy, their Engineering Services Group provides expert guidance on building engineering, energy use/performance and sustainability. MEP wise their core business areas are Building Services Design, Technical Due Diligence, Maintenance Strategies, Vertical Transportation Consultancy and Sustainability & Energy Consultancy.
Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services) able to deliver Performance Specifications and Technical Due Diligence across a range of commercial properties.
You will be responsible for:
- Delivery of Performance Specifications, Technical Due Diligence and Reporting across a range of commercial properties.
- Building and maintaining a deep understanding of existing and target clients.
- Working effectively with and supports other team members and departments to achieve seamless client service.
- Contributing to resource planning and management discussions in own area.
- Planning, prioritising and resourcing own work effectively to meet client needs and budgets.

You'll partner with end users and clients provide innovative and sustainable electrical engineering solutions that meet or exceed their expectations, and design systems that are easy to install, access and maintain.

You'll enjoy working on complex and challenging projects typically from feasibility, through construction and even post occupancy and use the lessons learnt on each project to then drive continuous innovation and improvement on your next project.

Requirements
- 3 years' experience in HVAC design, within a consultancy environment.
- Able to produce calculations, specifications, and technical reports (typically for RIBA Stages 2-4a)
