This is a diverse role that will develop your skills in HVAC Design, Sustainability and Project Management whilst you receive ongoing CPD and support to develop into a well-rounded, Chartered Engineer.
As a Mechanical Design / Sustainability Engineer you'll enjoy working as part of the Sustainability and Energy Efficiency division of a well-established Mechanical Contractor, who have offices in London and Kent. As a Mechanical (HVAC) and Sustainability Engineer, you'll be involved in projects all the way through from the initial survey, through concept and detailed design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and aftercare.
You'll deal directly with the decision makers within blue chip clients in the Hotel and Leisure, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Banking and Commercial sectors.
Here, you'll use your keen interest in Sustainability and best practice, Low Carbon Building Design and operation, to create innovative, energy efficient designs for clients such as Hilton Hotels, Unilever, London Stock Exchange, British Land and Vue Cinemas.
As a Mechanical (Building Services) Design and Sustainability Engineer, you'll benefit from a hybrid working week. This will include working from the office, working from home, and site-based duties as you enjoy a varied role of HVAC Design, Energy Efficiency and Project Management.

Working alongside their MEP Partner, you'll be engaged in the full project lifecycle on a variety of compelling projects. Recent project examples include a luxury low-energy resort in the Caribbean, full decarbonisation of a Grade 1 Listed Museum, a zero-carbon master plan, and a mixed-use development integrating hydrogen and battery storage technologies within a London hotel.
As an Electrical Associate, you'll thrive in a connected and collaborative team comprising MEP Design Engineers, Building Physics Engineers, Revit Technicians, and Sustainability Engineers. You'll mentor and manage a team of five Electrical Engineers while working closely with the founding Partners to drive innovation and best practices across the built environment.

Their Electrical team is headed up by a supportive, friendly and hands on Director, who is always happy to help you. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll work under an experienced team of Principals, Seniors and Engineers and have a Graduate to also assist you with calculations and drawings etc.
Rather than only working across a few industry sectors, their project portfolio has always remained diverse and consists of commercial, education, industrial, laboratory, listed and cultural buildings.
As a business they remain focussed on innovation and precision engineering, and their projects usually set new standards in terms of quality, innovation or energy efficiency.
