What you'll do:
We work exclusively with one of the world's leading Property Consultants, who advise on all aspects of commercial property to help their clients realise the true value of their buildings and/or estates.
Over the last decade they developed a fully functioning, in-house M&E Consultancy that feeds of the M&E work that occurs across their client's buildings and portfolio's - full Project Management & Detailed Design (stages 0-7).
Uniquely, they have access to their own client base and do not have to competitively tender for projects, resulting in a less pressurised environment and providing the financial resources to recruit into the M&E team when needed rather than expecting employees to shoulder more pressure and work excessive hours.
Essentially, a client-side role that will give you direct access to clients, working on the client's behalf as part of the client team as the clients representative. Offering you direct access to clients thinking and an unprecedented insight into the clients psyche and the drivers behind commercial property ownership.
They have an established team of experienced M&E Engineers, from which to continue your leaning and development. There is structured training for all employees to CEng and a clear route of progression.
The earning potential is in excess of that in design consultancy, with a great salary and an excellent package, including annual bonus of circa 15% of salary and opportunities for CPD and career growth that are exponential.
We have placed a significant number of individuals from market leading design consultancies into Property Consultancy. They have added significant commercial skills to their engineering knowledge and have set themselves apart from their peers.

Head of Mechanical Engineering - To £85K (Hertfordshire) Clear Progression
Complex projects, secure workload with a global firm that has pioneered a unique approach to design and build projects.
If you enjoy working on complex projects and have good attention to detail, then this opportunity will appeal. As the Head of Mechanical Engineering, you'll partner with end user clients such as the Institute of Cancer Research, GlaxoSmithKline, Imperial College London, or Medical Research Council and be responsible for leading complex projects from feasibility, design (concept and detail) all the way through to construction.
Rather than subcontracting out work, they have every discipline and service in-house which allows them to remain in full control of quality, cost, and time on projects.
Working alongside the current Director of Engineering, as the Head of Mechanical Engineering, you'll take full control for leading the Mechanical Design Engineers. You'll interact and collaborate with other experts such as Design Managers, Project Managers, Architects, Structural Engineers, Validation Engineers, Commissioning Managers, Cost Consultants and Construction Managers and ensure all projects are designed and delivered on time, scope, and budget.
In addition to a salary of up to £85K (depending on experience) they also offer a matched pension to 6%, 25 days leave, private medical cover, free onsite parking, subsidised gym membership, life assurance, discretionary annual bonus, a hybrid working policy and do support flexible working hours.
Senior Electrical Engineer (Oxford) To £55K 58 days annual leave.

However, with this Senior Electrical Engineer opportunity this is not the case.
You will receive 58 days leave, matched pension up to 5%, life assurance, private healthcare, payment of professional memberships, flexible start and finish times and a hybrid working policy.
They have grown organically to almost 20 staff in just two years whilst maintaining a 100% staff retention rate and aren't slowing down anytime soon.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll work on mixture of projects such as schools, listed buildings, science and research facilities, universities and commercial offices.
Rather than only getting involved in RIBA Stage 2 to 3, you'll see projects all the way through to post occupancy, which will ensure you understand how buildings operate when in use, rather than just in the design stage.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll become a key part of an engineering led, consultancy that is at the forefront of low carbon building design, and employee retention.
You'll enjoy a hybrid role, typically two to three days a week in the office and an unmatched level of autonomy, flexibility and trust.
