This consultancy will offer you a hybrid working policy of 4 days a week in the office and support you in your development as an engineer.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering.

    Requirements

    • 4 years as an Electrical Design Engineer.
    • Currently working for an engineering consultancy; or design and build contractor

As a pioneer in close temperature-controlled environments, their HVAC design engineers specialise in designing complex systems to maintain specific temperatures, humidity, air quality and air velocity.

    Due to growth, they are now looking for an experienced Principal Mechanical Design Engineer with a background in building services design, to lead a rage of both new build and refurbishment projects such as warehouses, manufacturing facilities, indoor farms and complex distribution centres.

    You'll be responsible for concept design, detailed design, plant room services design, associated controls; ensuring the projects meet British Standards and CIBSE best practices.

    You'll review drawings, specifications and schematics and advise how to improve the energy and sustainability aspects of projects, always promoting Low or Zero Carbon Technologies (LZCT).

    As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you'll lead design team meetings and coordinate the MEP services with architects, structural, electrical and other external consultants.

    Senior Electrical Design Engineer - To £65K Package Support

    Due to a sustained increase in commercial, mixed-use, and high-end residential projects; it's time to expand at this international building services consultancy.

    Established in London 25 years ago, they have grown steadily and have also expanded to have a presence and office in Central Europe.

    Reporting to a supportive, friendly, and down to earth Electrical Associate, you'll use your own initiative to lead projects through RIBA Stages 2 - 4. As a Project Leader, you'll use your own initiative and planning skills to ensure all projects under your control are delivered on budget and on time. This will include producing concept and detailed design including calculations, schematics, drawings, diagrams, Amtech models, and specifications.

    They operate a flat structure where the Directors and Associates all help the Principals, Seniors, and Engineers; and hence there are no big egos here. Just a team of around 30 MEP Engineers who partner with signature architects to design iconic commercial buildings and complex refurbishments across London.

    Every member of this culturally diverse and inclusive team all get along very well with each other; and collaborate to produce new ways to design smarter, more energy efficient buildings.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer.
    • Currently working in the UK, for a building services or multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy.
