Job Description
You will be a Mechanical Contracts Manager who will take responsibility for a Region that generally involves the areas between the M1 and M11 from North London / Hertfordshire to East Midlands. A central residence around Northamptonshire / Buckinghamshire would be preferred for limiting daily travel distance.
You will oversee various MEPH Projects ranging from £1M – £15M (MEP) to an approx. value of £10-20m per annum. You should demonstrate a key knowledge and understanding of Contract Commercial and Operational Terms and Conditions.
Other duties will include:
- Managing and Supporting Teams of Project Managers, QHSE Manager, Supervisors, QS and Operatives to suit workload and Clients requirements
- Working and communicating alongside other Contract Managers
- Reporting directly to the Branch Operations Manager
- Assisting with Plant and Package Procurement on Projects
This Client is an established Building Services Contractor who have been delivering high profile M&E Projects for over 65 years achieving a turnover in excess of £140m. They pride themselves on staff retention where many individuals have progressed through Apprenticeships.
They have remained extremely active throughout the pandemic holding a presence within diverse sectors including Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Leisure and Government Buildings.
