Human Capital Solutions is working with one of the world's leading Commercial Property Consultancies, they advise on all aspects of commercial property to help their clients realise the true value of their properties, estates and portfolios.

A Property Consultancy that has developed full technical in-house capability, with a fully integrated and established M&E Design & Projects Team. The team provides expert guidance on building engineering system performance and sustainability.

The role will see you seconded to one of their most prestigious in a Mechanical Technical Advisory role on mainly commercial office projects across the EMEA region, which are run from the UK office.

Working from home and in London when required, setting up stage 1&2 project design and then overseeing outsourced consultant designs on multi-phase office refurbs, cat B fit outs, plant replacement projects and all manner of reports and investigations.

Site visits are a portion of the role but essentially the role involves defining the projects and then monitoring the external M&E Consultant on behalf of the client.

The role includes the following:

  • Advising and investigating operational failures and providing advice on a course of action
  • Feasibility studies and early support to architects and space planners
  • Advice and establishing project briefs, determining project goals and objectives associated with the building services
  • Monitoring project designs and review to ensure Client standards are being met
  • Review works on site to ensure that standards are being met, general advice to the Client during construction (Note: projects are across EMEA, but visiting role only)
  • Completion review and sign off on behalf of the Client

Requirements:

  • Good all-around experience M, E & PH although specialising in Mechanical (team will cover both) Min 10 years' experience.
  • Good communication skills - will be working directly with the Client.
  • Hard working - plan own workload and prioritise as when required.
  • Good commercial understanding.
  • Happy to be based at the Clients offices and to travel when required.
