Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer - To £40K Package

Situated in Hertfordshire, this MEP Consultancy has a proud history stretching back over 50 years. They are based in a perfect catchment area to make commuting from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire or anywhere in Hertfordshire a doddle.

And if you need a bit of flexibility in terms of start and finish times due to you your circumstances, location or family commitments they can also accommodate this.

Reporting to either a Director or Associate you'll work on challenging projects such as hotels, hospitals, labs, schools and major residential projects from concept to completion. Project values range from £2 to £20M, however vary hugely from extensions, upgrades, new builds, regeneration and also master plans.

You'll enjoy working in a close knit and supportive team and will benefit from being mentored by a hands-on Associate Director and use your IES and Hevacomp skills to design projects.

With the majority of their projects located within an hour's drive of their office in Hertfordshire, you'll will enjoy a varied role of design, site surveys and client meetings.

In addition to 36 days leave, 5% pension, discretionary annual bonus and annual pay reviews; they also offer job security and a very enjoyable working environment.

Requirements

  • At least three years experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, within the building services industry.
  • Previous experience working for a consultancy or design and build contractor.
  • Good Hevacomp and IES skills, or at least good skills in one of these.
  • Able to work in the UK without the need to be sponsored.
