Contract Public Health Engineer - To £38 p/h
Due to a number of new project wins, we are looking for a Contract Public Health Engineer (or a reasonably priced Senior PH Design Engineer) for a six-month contract. You will be responsible for assisting on a high profile master-planning project in the Middle East so any previous international design experience would be great.
Supported by a Director with over 20 years' experience in PH Design you'll develop your skills in above ground drainage, sustainable design, grey water recycling, rainwater harvesting, sustainable urban drainage and BIM.
With a minimum of 5 years' experience as a PH Design Engineer you'll be used to attending meetings, agreeing the design philosophy, managing the design and construction stages of a project and producing drawing lists, calculations, schedules and specifications.
Established over 50 years ago they now employ over 2000 staff from over 25 offices and are large enough to compete against the large practices; whilst still being small enough to recognise their employees as their greatest assets. You will initially work from home although as things return to normal, the idea is that you will be based in their London office so you can collaborate with the inhouse Mechanical, Electrical, Sustainability, Environmental Engineers and Civil and Structural Engineers. It is likley that after your involvement on the masterplanning project is conplete; you will then work on a range of high-rise commercial office, hotel, residential buildings across the UK and abroad.
Senior Electrical Design Engineer - To £65K bonus package progression purpose.
I have a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join an international, MEP Design and Sustainability Consultancy based in London.
Established over a decade ago, they are widely regarded as a leader in ESD / Green Building Design and launched a new London office in 2024, which has been a phenomenal success so far.
Working with (i.e. not just working for) their Electrical Director, you'll be responsible for leading meetings, leading projects, and also assisting with fee bids and resource planning. You will be fully supported in the role, but not micromanaged. You'll see projects through from feasibility, design, all the way through to construction and post occupancy.
This role will appeal to a Senior Electrical Engineer who enjoys autonomy and wants to have a huge influence over the future direction and success of the Electrical team.
As you develop your own network and contacts (realistically over the next 6 - 12 months) you'll develop your own reputation and relationships with architects, contractors, managing agents and end users.
You'll be rewarded with a basic salary up to £65K, an annual bonus of up to 10%, 25 days annual leave a hybrid working policy.
Essential Requirements
· 5 years' experience as an Electrical (Building Services) design engineer.
· Previous experience working for a consultancy (ie Building Services, or multi-disciplinary)
· Must be able to work in the UK without the need to be sponsored.
· Willing to work from the office three days a week (Central London)
