With a large, new build hotel and leisure development about to kick off in the Caribbean, this global engineering consultancy is looking for an additional Electrical Design Engineer for their London design studio. Reporting to one of the MEP Team leaders, you'll be responsible for designing the electrical services from RIBA Stages 2 - 4 on a luxury, hotel and resort development.
Although you will initially spend the majority of your time working on this development, you'll also work on a number of iconic London developments such as masterplans, hotels and Net Zero Carbon office developments.
You'll enjoy working in a fun, social and friendly team of engineers, technicians and sustainability engineers and benefit from their employee led, hybrid working policy of just two days a week in the office as a minimum.
You'll also benefit from their structured training and development program (modelled off the CIBSE Training and Development Program) and have direct access to the founding Partners, something which just isn't available within the large corporate engineering consultancies.
Requirements
1 - Degree qualified with at least two years' experience, within the building services industry.
2 - Able to use Amtech, Dialux and Revit.
3 - Able to complete tasks, or elements of projects without constant supervision.
4 - Willingness to attend site or design team meetings
5 - Able to work without the need to be sponsored, however individuals that have a full two years of a PSW will also be considered.

Senior Electrical Design Engineer - To £65K bonus package progression purpose.
I have a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join an international, MEP Design and Sustainability Consultancy based in London.
Established over a decade ago, they are widely regarded as a leader in ESD / Green Building Design and launched a new London office in 2024, which has been a phenomenal success so far.
Working with (i.e. not just working for) their Electrical Director, you'll be responsible for leading meetings, leading projects, and also assisting with fee bids and resource planning. You will be fully supported in the role, but not micromanaged. You'll see projects through from feasibility, design, all the way through to construction and post occupancy.
This role will appeal to a Senior Electrical Engineer who enjoys autonomy and wants to have a huge influence over the future direction and success of the Electrical team.
As you develop your own network and contacts (realistically over the next 6 - 12 months) you'll develop your own reputation and relationships with architects, contractors, managing agents and end users.
You'll be rewarded with a basic salary up to £65K, an annual bonus of up to 10%, 25 days annual leave a hybrid working policy.
Essential Requirements
· 5 years' experience as an Electrical (Building Services) design engineer.
· Previous experience working for a consultancy (ie Building Services, or multi-disciplinary)
· Must be able to work in the UK without the need to be sponsored.
