Following recent promotions, they are now looking for an Intermediate to Senior (i.e., they are happy to consider an Intermediate, an Engineer or a Senior) Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer for their inhouse MEP Design Team.
You'll get involved in projects from feasibility, through detail design, installation, commissioning and handover; ensuring you develop into a well-rounded and commercially aware engineer. You'll get involved in a range of new build, complex refurbishment or upgrade projects often working directly for the end user client, working on the client's behalf as part of the client team.

Summary of the role:
· Concept and detailed Mechanical (HVAC) Design.
· Promoting the use of renewable / low energy technologies.
· Carrying out specialist surveys and forensic engineering activities on existing buildings to identify poorly performing plant, equipment or BMS.
· Supporting and assisting the energy team in identifying Energy Conservation Measures to improve energy efficiency/reduce the energy and carbon footprint.
· Production of technical reports.
· Overseeing and approve the witnessing and commission of new equipment (AHU, Heat Recovery Systems, Fan Coils., BMS, Chilled Beams, GSHP's etc)
· Working closely with the other specialists to understand plant replacement strategies.
· Taking full ownership of all your own projects, ensuring they remain technically sound and financially viable.
· Mentoring of a Graduate or Junior Engineer.

Senior Electrical Design Engineer - To £65K bonus package progression purpose.
I have a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join an international, MEP Design and Sustainability Consultancy based in London.
Established over a decade ago, they are widely regarded as a leader in ESD / Green Building Design and launched a new London office in 2024, which has been a phenomenal success so far.
Working with (i.e. not just working for) their Electrical Director, you'll be responsible for leading meetings, leading projects, and also assisting with fee bids and resource planning. You will be fully supported in the role, but not micromanaged. You'll see projects through from feasibility, design, all the way through to construction and post occupancy.
This role will appeal to a Senior Electrical Engineer who enjoys autonomy and wants to have a huge influence over the future direction and success of the Electrical team.
As you develop your own network and contacts (realistically over the next 6 - 12 months) you'll develop your own reputation and relationships with architects, contractors, managing agents and end users.
You'll be rewarded with a basic salary up to £65K, an annual bonus of up to 10%, 25 days annual leave a hybrid working policy.
Essential Requirements
· 5 years' experience as an Electrical (Building Services) design engineer.
· Previous experience working for a consultancy (ie Building Services, or multi-disciplinary)
· Must be able to work in the UK without the need to be sponsored.
· Willing to work from the office three days a week (Central London)
