Head of M&E Design & Projects - Building Consultancy - London - £70K to £80K 20%Bonus/Pension/BUPA

Human Capital Solutions is partnering with a professional Building Consultancy to find a Head of M&E Design & Projects. Our client is enjoying ongoing success and are now one of the leading independent building consultancies in the UK with a network of UK offices. They have developed a hugely impressive portfolio of leading clients and continue to add further notable clients on a regular basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside the current Partner in charge to support the expansion of their M&E Design & Projects service line across the business. You would be working on new build and refurbishment projects and project monitoring for buildings in the UK and Europe. Clients include The Crown Estate, M&G, Aviva, Legal and General and Threadneedle, amongst others.

You will be tasked with developing an M E Design & Projects division, working in tandem with an established M E Asset Engineering team (TDD/Dilapidations). The successful candidate will develop, expand, manage and lead the London Project team and deliver a variety of projects, on both detailed and performance design basis.

The ideal candidate will have senior level, professional experience within the building services engineering industry, ideally with strong experience in commercial office developments and fit-out with a commercial mind set who is able to deliver multi million pound commercial projects.

The M&E Asset engineering team currently consists of 15 people across the UK. Your remit will be to grow the M&E Design & Projects division and its client base to a similar size and beyond, with the full backing and support of Partners within their wider business across Building Surveying, Project Management and M&E Asset Engineering.

They have a base of existing clients/projects, business development would be leveraged from internal clients across Building Surveying, Project Management, cost consultancy, sustainability etc. In terms of development of M&E Design & Projects, it would make sense to initially work across performance design basis leading into more detailed design as the team grows and expands.
