Extremely steady and stable Building Services Contractor with a secured pipeline of £50m (M&E) for this year with other project awards imminent.

Demonstrating an impressive track record in staff retention, many have been supported and grown developing their careers from Apprenticeships.

They are keen to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor who will report to the Line Manager (HSE Group Manager) where training and support is strongly supported within the business and a career path mapped out for HSE Manager.

The role is primarily multi-site based, typically working across specialist M&E projects in London & The South.

You will demonstrate excellent communication skills to be able to liaise with people on all levels, have a natural ability to influence others and have a high level of personal integrity.

You will need to be IT literate and be a competent Microsoft Office User.

Ideally with 2-3 Years H&S experience with a comparable M&E company in the industry and a recognised qualification (NEBOSH Construction Certificate or similar as a minimum)

A knowledge of ISO systems and their implementation is desirable.

Typical duties will include:

  • Carrying out Health & Safety Audits, inspections and write reports on H&S performance
  • Collate H&S data, statistics and implement various H&S initiatives at a site level to help develop performance and cultural improvement
  • Check on all safety and quality calibration compliance
  • Ensure compliance with H&S legislation, industry standards
  • Create suitable and sufficient Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Review suitability of Sub Contractor Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Receive client H&S reports and attend internal and client’s safety meetings and communicate & implement any actions required

    I have a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join an international, MEP Design and Sustainability Consultancy based in London.

    Established over a decade ago, they are widely regarded as a leader in ESD / Green Building Design and launched a new London office in 2024, which has been a phenomenal success so far.

    Working with (i.e. not just working for) their Electrical Director, you'll be responsible for leading meetings, leading projects, and also assisting with fee bids and resource planning. You will be fully supported in the role, but not micromanaged. You'll see projects through from feasibility, design, all the way through to construction and post occupancy.

    This role will appeal to a Senior Electrical Engineer who enjoys autonomy and wants to have a huge influence over the future direction and success of the Electrical team.

    As you develop your own network and contacts (realistically over the next 6 - 12 months) you'll develop your own reputation and relationships with architects, contractors, managing agents and end users.

    You'll be rewarded with a basic salary up to £65K, an annual bonus of up to 10%, 25 days annual leave a hybrid working policy.

    · 5 years' experience as an Electrical (Building Services) design engineer.
    · Previous experience working for a consultancy (ie Building Services, or multi-disciplinary)
