Job Description

Senior M&E Building Services Engineer - London - to £55K Pension,Medical & Bonus

Human Capital Solutions is representing a market leading Commercial Building Consultancy, who due to continued growth have identified a need to provide additional engineering support to their London MEP engineering operations.

This role will involve undertaking Condition Surveys, Technical Due Diligence, Dilapidations Studies and Condition Reports and respective reporting on all types of building services within commercial properties including commercial offices and industrial units.

The role will also include tendering M&E maintenance contracts, auditing such contracts and providing day to day advice to the building management team on technical issues.

Additionally, the successful engineer will work closely with the Design & Projects team to provide advice, project monitoring and performance specification advice for refurbishment and fit-out projects.

Although you may not have the skills listed above you should have a practical working knowledge of the following:

  • Air Conditioning Systems, including VRV, VAV, Chilled Water Systems (as well as knowledge of older and less common systems).
  • Heating Systems
  • Electrical Distribution
  • Working knowledge of Plantroom's

You may currently have some experience of working in a Contracts Management, Project Engineering or Hard FM role where you will have a working knowledge of Mechanical Building Services systems and be looking to develop this further.

You should also be able to demonstrate a professional outlook, excellent communication skills are required and the ability to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues is essential.
