I’m working with an independent, employee-owned Building Services Consultancy of approximately 26 people with ambitious but sustainable plans for growth.
They’re large enough to deliver significant and technically challenging projects, yet small enough that your contribution will be visible and your opinion genuinely matters.
You’ll take technical ownership of Electrical Building Services projects from initial feasibility and concept through detailed design, tender and construction, while developing client relationships and mentoring Graduate, Junior and Intermediate Engineers.
Projects span Healthcare, Commercial, Education, Defence, Leisure, Residential and Public Sector, with a particularly strong reputation within Healthcare.
Your involvement will include leading electrical designs, surveys and feasibility studies, reviewing calculations and specifications, BIM/Revit coordination, design and value-engineering workshops, tender reviews and construction-stage support.
You’ll also help develop low-energy and low-carbon solutions while supporting less experienced Engineers towards Chartership.
Ideally, you’ll be degree-qualified with good UK Building Services Consultancy experience. Chartered status, or working towards it, would be advantageous, although technical ability, communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients are equally important.
