Intermediate / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – HVAC / Decarbonisation
Hybrid working | 2–3 days from home | Excellent profit share & bonus
Are you a Mechanical / HVAC Design Engineer looking for more flexibility, greater technical variety and the opportunity to work at the forefront of decarbonisation?
I’m working with a unique, established business that designs, installs, commissions and maintains everything in-house, predominantly across retrofit, refurbishment and decarbonisation projects.
Employing around 100 people, including a dedicated team of HVAC Design Engineers, they have won multiple awards for innovation and energy efficiency, including recognition at the CIBSE Building Performance Awards.
What really sets them apart is the combination of flexibility and financial reward.
Typically, you’ll spend just 1–2 days per week in the office or on site, with 2–3 days working from home.
And when the business does well, you share in that success. They offer two forms of profit share, which can provide approximately £10,000–£25,000 annually, plus an additional tax-free EOT bonus of up to £3,600.
You’ll work on technically interesting HVAC and Mechanical Design projects while gaining exposure beyond traditional building services design, including heat pumps, controls, automation, decarbonisation, AI and machine learning.
For an Intermediate Engineer, there is plenty of support around you to continue developing technically. For a Senior Engineer, there is the opportunity to take greater ownership of projects and play an important part in the continued development of the design team.
If you’re looking for a Mechanical Design role offering genuine hybrid flexibility, interesting sustainable projects and bonuses that meaningfully reward your contribution, this is well worth a conversation.
