As an Electrical Associate Director, you'll enjoy work closely with Architects and leading projects through from inception to construction. You'll use your knowledge of architecture, structural engineering, sustainability, and environmental design to ensure that the building services are fully integrated and coordinated within a building.

You'll manage the workload of the electrical team, help develop their skills, share your knowledge, and offer guidance when required.

You will prepare proposals and scopes of services, negotiate with project managers and clients to reach positive, collaborative outcomes whilst promoting low energy sustainable design solutions.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of Electrical Building Services Engineering.
  • 10 years' experience in a relevant role, within the built environment.
  • Able to lead a project from start to construction, ie RIBA Stages 2 - 4.
  • Comfortable providing support and supervision to a team of engineers.
  • Up to date knowledge of CIBSE guidelines, British Standards and CDM regulations.

Great opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a medium sized, global Building Services Engineering Consultancy in London who specialise in the design of super-prime residential, five-star hotel, mixed-use and listed buildings.

Working in true partnership with the client or the architect, you'll be involved in projects that are anything but boring, simple, or repetitive.

You'll use your string technical design skills to help demystify, simplify, and clarify client's needs; and then help make these dreams a reality. Projects include the UKs largest zero carbon developments, a hotel in Spain, a grade II listed museum, eco villas in the Caribbean and an ultra-high-tech luxury home in central London.

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you'll get to work on architecturally led and innovative projects from RIBA Stages 2 - 4. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of a Scaffolding Contractor, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and seamless integration with other site activities. Key Responsibilities:
