Key Responsibilities
- Preparing lighting and electrical designs using Dialux or Trimble Predesign
- Preparing feasibility reports and equipment schedules
- Carrying out site surveys on existing buildings and producing condition or dilapidation reports
- Managing your own time to ensure projects remain profitable
- Helping with fee proposals and negotiation of appointments with the client (for approval by the director)
- Actively participating in the development of individual team members, including advancement/succession planning
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, within Building Services
- Able to use AutoCAD or Revit, and ElectricalOM or Trimble ProDesign
- Previous residential, education, healthcare, industrial, or listed buildings experience
