This design led, D&B contactor specialises in complex refurbishments of Lab, Life Sciences and Commercial projects in London and the Southeast.

Established over 30 years ago, they are currently turning over around £10M and their inhouse design team is absolutely thriving.

Led by an ambitious, young, Chartered Engineer they are now looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer. Rather than getting stuck on large, slow moving projects for years, here you’ll be involved in fast-track projects, typically valued in the £1 to £5M (i.e. in terms of M&E services values) that need to be completed within 6 – 12 months.

Rather than only getting involved in Electrical design, here you will also develop your skills in HVAC. You’ll be involved in the true, full lifecycle of a project which will develop you into a technically robust and commercially aware engineer.

Their business is built around delivery and trust. Providing you can attend their office in Hertfordshire once a week, you are fee to choose to work from wherever you feel most productive.

This unique opportunity will allow you to develop experience across the design and installation of not just electrical, but also mechanical services.

Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience as a building services, electrical design engineer
• Good time management skills, able to plan and prioritise tasks
• Full UK working rights, they are unable to provide sponsorship
• Previous experience seeing projects from concept design, construction and final handover
• Familiar with CIBSE rules of thumb, British Standards and BCO guidelines
• Whilst not essential a Full UK Driving License would be advantageous
• Able to use Relux, AutoCAD and Trimble ProDesign (i.e. Amtech)
