Principal Electrical Engineer – To £75K + Package

Be the Lead Electrical Engineer in Leeds.

Due to growth, I’m looking for an ambitious Principal Electrical Engineer to join a medium-sized Building Services Consultancy in Leeds.

Owned by Engineers and run by Engineers, this Building Services Consultancy has always prioritized people before profit and always promotes from within.

Reporting to the Electrical Partner, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of 10 M&E Engineers on a range of complex healthcare, education, and leisure projects. As a key member of their senior management team, you’ll have a huge influence on the future success and direction of this office.

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you’ll stay hands-on in projects, from the initial survey or meeting, through concept and detailed design, commissioning, and final handover. You’ll mentor and manage the M&E Engineers and be the go-to technical person and a single point of contact for clients.

You’ll be backed by the board of directors and have a clear path to Partner in as little as two to three years. This will just depend on your ability to lead the team, deliver profitable projects, and grow the team.

Requirements:

• Currently working as a Senior or Principal Electrical Design Engineer within the building services industry.
• Currently working for an engineering consultancy or design and build contractor.
• Able to lead a project, covering all aspects of M&E services
• Experience across new build and refurbishment, extension, or upgrade projects.
