The Role:
This is a technically focused, hands-on estimating position working on Mechanical / HVAC retrofit and design-and-build projects, typically ranging from £50k–£3m in value.
The role requires someone comfortable building robust cost models from site surveys and limited design information, working closely with engineers and project managers to develop practical, commercially sound solutions.
Responsibilities include:
You’ll play a key role in securing high-quality projects while collaborating closely with commercial and operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
Bringing 3–5+ years’ experience in Mechanical estimating you’ll have a strong understanding of retrofit and replacement projects, be commercially aware with solid technical competence
Confident working with Excel and building up costs from first principles, including supplier pricing and operating in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
