A unique opportunity for a Mechanical (Building Services) Design Engineer to break away from the norm.
If you’re an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer looking for training and development, quick progression and fair salary for your ability, please read on.
You’ll benefit from a CIBSE-approved training and Development Program, quick progression to Senior in as little as 12 months, a yearly salary review, and a guaranteed yearly annual bonus.
In addition to HVAC design, you’ll also develop new skills in decarbonisation and NZC retrofits, MEP testing and validation, and M&E Asset Management, ie how to increase the operational efficiency of existing M&E plant and equipment.
You’ll join a close-knit team and work directly with senior leadership on a blend of mechanical design and FM consultancy projects, not just be stuck at your desk doing specs all day. Or stuck doing RIBA Stages 2-4 that never get built or stuck for five years on a colossal project as a package engineer. You’ll also be involved in pre-acquisition technical due diligence, feasibility studies, dilapidation surveys, and life cycle cost plans.
You’ll have full autonomy over your projects, ensuring their technical and commercial success. Their business model is built on trust, quality, innovation, and staff development. Directors and Engineers are all equal; everyone gets a say in how the business is run and where to reinvest profits.
Benefits
This is not just another job as a HVAC Design Engineer. It’s a chance to broaden your exposure and work directly with clients on major refurbishment and new build projects.
This role will appeal to a Mechanical Design Engineer who’s technically sound but wants more variety, visibility, and responsibility.
No micromanagement. High trust, high reward environment. Opportunity to make a real impact and see your projects through.
