Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer – To £55K

This building services consultancy have always prioritised quality over quantity.

They have grown steadily to 20 MEP Engineers and only work directly with end-user clients or architects.

They are known for designing low-energy and sustainable buildings that genuinely improve peoples lives such as schools, hospitals, museums, colleges and universities.

Joining a friendly and supportive team, you’ll be involved in the concept and detailed design of electrical systems across new build and refurbishment projects.

All Directors remain hands-on and are committed to developing their Intermediate Engineers. That means you’ll get exposure not only to the technical aspects of design but also to project management, fee proposals, client meetings, resource planning, and marketing.

You’ll develop your knowledge of lighting design, fire alarms, security systems, vertical transportation, energy strategy, and BIM.

What they are looking for:

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
• At least three years’ experience working in a consultancy
• Comfortable using Dialux/Relux, Amtech and Revit
• Able to produce well-coordinated, energy-efficient electrical designs
