We have an excellent opportunity for an Intermediate Building Services Mechanical Design Engineer to join a Consultancy in Zone 1, Central London.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll get to use your initiative, be encouraged to try new things or software to solve problems, and get a huge say in how buildings are designed and delivered.
- You’ll lead design packages for HVAC, attend design team meetings, and liaise directly with architects, contractors, and clients.
- Plus, you won’t just be doing HVAC design. Here you’ll also be involved in PH Design, Energy & Sustainability, and BIM as well as developing your understanding of electrical services.
- Projects will be diverse, as you’ll work on a blend of commercial, residential, mixed-use, education, and cultural buildings across London and the UK.

Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a mechanical, building services design engineer/
- Proficient in Bluebeam, Revit, and either IESVe or H2X.
- Confident working in multidisciplinary teams, mentoring juniors, and presenting to clients.
- Keen interest in sustainability, low-carbon technologies, and building performance
- Able to produce specifications, reports, schematics, and mechanical layouts
