Intermediate Mechanical Engineer

Intermediate Mechanical Engineer

Intermediate Mechanical Engineer – Up to £50K + Package

As an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll work closely with the M&E Director, a recognised expert in designing low-energy buildings.

As a recognised “Investor in People,” they focus on attracting, developing, and retaining their staff. In an industry where the average length of service is less than two years, their employees stay an average of four years, which speaks volumes about their business and culture.

Based in their London office, you’ll become a key part of a multi-disciplinary team of architects, civil and structural engineers, BIM technicians, and M&E design engineers.

Rather than being pigeonholed into only new builds or refurbishments, you’ll work on both. This variety will ensure you continue developing as an engineer, gaining experience across education, healthcare, emergency services, defence, residential, and listed building projects.

You’ll benefit from diverse project exposure as one week, you could be involved in a £10K specialist survey, and the next, a £50M new build development.

Working within an integrated, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy will help you develop into a well-rounded, commercially aware engineer.

Their culture recognises and rewards high achievers, meaning you could progress from Engineer to Senior in as little as a year.

You’ll use IES, H2X, or Hevacomp to design, model, and size HVAC services. Your responsibilities will include producing calculations, specifications, and equipment schedules, as well as attending site visits and progress meetings.
