Principal Electrical Engineer - London £58K to £68K autonomy iconic projects

This Principal Electrical opportunity will allow you to lead iconic, large scale (£100M - £500M) residential, mixed-use and hotel projects across the UK and abroad.

Building off the success of 2023 (their most profitable year), their 150 strong Building Services team is currently involved in a £1.5B regeneration project in West London and 250-meter, high-rise tower in Dubai and has also just been appointed on another £500M project in Zone 1, London.

You'll become a key member of a team that has unmatched experience designing liveable, low carbon and zero carbon buildings. Reporting to the Head of Electrical, you'll be responsible for ensuring all projects continue to push the boundaries of technical design, remain innovative and set new standards when it comes to low carbon, building design.

As a key member of their interdisciplinary team, as a Principal Electrical Engineer you'll have a big impact on the future direction and success of their Building Services offering. You'll also help upskill the team and provide clients with an unmatched level of service and quality of project delivery.

You'll continue to lead by example and encourage the use of AI, Digital tools, and automation to improve the quality and detail of the projects that you will deliver.

Key requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Architectural and Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• At least eight years' experience in the built environment, working for a consultancy.
• Good appreciation of sustainability and net zero carbon design.
• Ability to mentor and develop multidisciplinary professional teams.
• Comfortable leading teams and engaging with clients.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - To £60K full autonomy over your projects.

As a small MEP and Sustainability Consultancy with eight permanent MEP staff, yes you will be busy, however, it will be manageable as they never take on more work than they can deliver and never enter a "fastest race to the bottom" bidding war against other consultants for project work.

Senior Mechanical Engineer - £53K-£63K 35hr working week Profit share

Their MEP Design Engineers design outstanding spaces that enhance or improve people's lives, and include hospitals, schools, museums, science and research facilities, tourist attractions, theatres, as well as residential and hotel developments.

As a result of this ongoing demand, they are now looking for an additional, client facing, Senior Mechanical (HVAC) Design Engineer. They need someone who can lead projects (technically) and hold their own in front of an architect, project manager, contractor, or end user client.

Despite being a medium sized practice of around 25 MEP engineers, they continue to win multiple £100M projects and secure virtually all of their projects by repeat business.

Supported by the Mechanical Director or Mechanical Associate Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects under your control remain technically robust, cost effective and energy efficient.

Given the nature of the role (ie client facing, leading projects etc), the successful Senior Mechanical Engineer is likely to have at least four years' experience in the design of HVAC services, within a range of existing and new build projects.

You will have a good understanding of other disciplines and be savvy with a range of digital tools such as IES, Revit and Bluebeam. You'll be interested in and open to change and are probably curious about the impact AI and automation will play within the built environment over the next decade.

This role will suit an individual with effective communication skills who enjoys working in a close knit, social and friendly team.

Senior Mechanical Engineer - To £60K 35 days paid leave bank holidays.
