You're probably thinking what has this got to do with me? Well, it's no surprise that some of the most creative and admired engineering consultancies and architects also operate from here.

Supported by one of the Senior Electrical Engineers, you'll work on an interesting range of projects in true collaboration with a number of fintech, hotel, residential developer and commercial property clients.

You'll see projects through from feasibility, through construction to Post Occupancy Evaluations which will ensure you develop into a well-rounded, Electrical Building Services Design Engineer. You will be given a lot of freedom, flexibility and autonomy and develop your skills and knowledge in other areas of Building Services Design such as Mechanical, Public Health Design, BIM, Lighting or Sustainable design which will also ensure you develop all the skills you need to get Chartered within the next year or two.

You'll enjoy working in a social and friendly environment and collaborate with the inhouse architects and sustainability engineers and design outstanding low or zero carbon buildings and spaces.

This specialist Sustainability Consultancy offers a turn-key integrated solution to their clients. They cover everything from Passivhaus studies, Dynamic Thermal Modelling, BREEAM and LEED, HVAC Design, Thermal Bridging studies, Airtight testing, Energy statements to Project Management and can even specify and supply a range of renewable energy technologies to use on projects.

Rather than just designing a project, they plan, manage and oversee the construction or refurbishment process and also provide POE's and measurement and verification of energy savings.

Working from home initially you'll be responsible for helping their clients achieve low energy and low-cost buildings while improving occupant comfort and overall health and well-being.

Key tasks

  • Building Physics modelling (Daylight, overheating studies, dynamic thermal modelling etc) of new build and complex refurbishment projects.
  • Partnering with architects and helping bring their ideas and visions to life.

Working as part of their well-established inhouse, Sustainability Team you will be responsible for leading the LEED Assessments on two large scale, high specification commercial fit out (Commercial Interiors) projects in London.

This is a great opportunity for an accredited LEED Assessor (Interior Design and Construction) with previous experience in commercial office fit out projects to join a global leader and assist blue chip clients ensure their commercial property portfolios are performing as efficiently and environmentally friendly as possible.

Offering MEP Design, Energy Modelling, Sustainability and BIM services they now employ over 1000 staff and have a reputation for quality, innovation and staff development.

This is a great opportunity to work for a high profile, stable and well respected consultancy that has already secured a long list of awards such as the world's highest LEED score, CIBSE employer of the year and CIBSE Building Performance awards.

Based in their London office you will use a range of modelling software (such as IES VE, TAS, Revit, Hevacomp, and OpenFOAM, Fluent) to help optimise energy use and promote daylight and passive design in buildings and improve human comfort and well-being at the concept, detailed and operation stage of a building. The key elements of your role will involve;
