Intermediate Electrical Engineer - To £45K 59 days paid annual leave
(Yes 59 days PAID annual leave)
If you enjoy a good work / life balance and working on interesting and challenging projects, then you are going to love working here.
This Architecturally and Sustainability led, Engineering Consultancy has always valued the health and well-being of their employees; and offers a 9-day fortnight.
That means you'll get paid, to have every other Friday off. So, when you calculate the 25 days leave you get anyway, plus the additional 26 days (every second Friday) leave, plus the extra 8 bank holidays, you'll actually get paid to have 59 days off every single year.
However, it's not just annual leave that this consultancy leads the way in, it's also the quality of the projects they work on, as they work on medium to large scale, new build and refurbishment projects across the UK and abroad. And they provide a unique culture and overall working environment, where the founding Directors still remain hands on and are available to help you whenever you need it.
As an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer, some of your key duties will involve producing low energy and creative concept and detailed designs (power, lighting, security, communications systems, etc.), carrying out site inspection / surveys on projects, attending design team meetings and ensuring your electrical designs are coordinated with the mechanical and public health services on a project.
