Senior/Associate Electrical Engineer (Building Services) - Birmingham - £50 to £60K 10% Bonus, Pension, Medical
Human Capital Solutions are working in partnership with the MEP team within world's leading commercial property adviser, who advise on all aspects of commercial property to help their clients realise the true M&E value of their property.
Operating within Building Consultancy, their Engineering Services Group provides expert guidance on energy use, building engineering system performance and sustainability. Their core business areas are Building Services Design, Maintenance Strategies, Due Diligence, Vertical Transportation Consultancy, Sustainability, Energy Buying and Plant Replacement Projects.
In terms of location the role will be based from their offices based in central Birmingham.
Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior or Associate level Electrical Engineer (Building Services) ideally technical Asset Management skills:
- Technical Due Diligence, Condition Surveys, Performance Specifications, Plant Replacement projects, Maintenance Strategies, Life Cycle Costing, and Development Monitoring.
- Building and maintaining a deep understanding of existing and target clients.
- Working effectively with and supports other team members and departments to achieve seamless client service.
- Contributing to resource planning and management discussions in own area.
- Planning, prioritising and resourcing own work effectively to meet client needs and budgets.

We are working with a consultancy that align design with energy reduction and the decarbonisation of the built environment, to help them find their next Mechanical Engineer.
Established over 30 years ago they deliver M&E design consultancy services, energy efficiency, carbon management and cost reduction solutions to their clients across a range of sectors including Commercial, Residential, Education and Industrial.
You will be working as part of the mechanical design team to deliver projects from feasibility through to construction. This is a technical role and will enable you to work on all parts of the project from upfront strategic planning, right through to project management and implementation.
The role will give you the autonomy to lead projects, liaising directly with clients and working on the client's behalf to deliver projects inline with the targeted time scales and energy efficiency requirements.
Based in their Birmingham office and working directly with the Principal Engineer, you will be joining and M&E team of 12 engineers. The office is home to 60 employees, newly refurbished and open plan, so you will have the whole team around you for support.
As a business they strongly believe in supporting their staff to achieve their goals and encouraging promoting from within, so promotion to Senior would be supported when you asre ready. Their current team have an average length of service of 8 years, and this is reflective of their commitment to providing a positive environment where people can grow and develop both professionally and personally.

- Design, specifications, and construction stage project management of mechanical projects (all aspects of Mechanical Services), this will include all RIBA stages.

- Attend project meetings.
