Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer - Buckinghamshire

If you like getting involved in complex, large scale projects from concept to construction, you'll love working here.

Working closely in team of 20 MEP Design Engineers; you'll get involved in the design of complex buildings ranging from 20,000m2 to 250,000m2. Rather than just being stuck in the office, you'll going to site to check projects progress and also get involved in overseeing the testing and commissioning of the electrical services you've designed.

Although they are a building services consultancy, the types of projects you get involved in will allow you to develop additional skills and knowledge in areas such as robotics, building automation and control systems, power distribution, stand by generation and HV systems.

In addition to flexible working hours, 23 days annual holiday, payment of 1 x professional membership, pension, life assurance, car or car allowance they also provide a laptop and mobile phone.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Electrical, Electronic or Building Services Engineering (or similar).
  • At least two years' experience in Building services.
  • Willingness to work on complex industrial, manufacturing, FMCG, distribution centre projects.

    · 5 years' experience as an Electrical (Building Services) design engineer.
    · Previous experience working for a consultancy (ie Building Services, or multi-disciplinary)
    · Must be able to work in the UK without the need to be sponsored.
    · Willing to work from the office three days a week (Central London)
