Due to planned growth and a secured pipeline of work for 2021, this well-known national MEP Design and Sustainability Consultancy are looking for a Mechanical Associate Director / Director.

This role will suit an experienced Mechanical Associate Director who is ready to progress their career and step into a dedicated Director role in 2021.

Supported and backed by their two founding Partners; you'll have full autonomy to develop the Mechanical team and the London office. This will include developing the Associate, Principal and Senior level engineers and also further developing existing relationships with signature architects.

Having recently moved into a larger, state of the art office just before COVID-19 they are serious about growing in 2021 due to a very healthy order book. Projects vary hugely and include everything from masterplans and regeneration schemes, universities, commercial offices, listed buildings and also healthcare projects.

They have always believed in quality and consistency of delivery over quantity; and have grown steadily over the past decade, with numerous offices now based across the UK.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified and preferably Chartered with CIBSE or the IMechE.
  • At least eight years' experience in Building Services.
  • Good awareness of BIM, Sustainability and MEP overall.
  • Previous experience leading a team.
  • Previous experience assisting with fee bids and resource planning.
  • Able to plan, manage and deliver projects from feasibility to construction.

    Initially joining as an Associate you'll have a clear path to Director in as little as two years.

    Yes, you'll be involved in fee bids, resource planning, invoicing, team management and also securing repeat business from existing clients. However, as a medium sized MEP and Sustainability Consultancy, you'll still be able to maintain a hands-on role when it comes to do design and project delivery.
