Building Physics Engineer

£29999 - £45000 per annum Variety, Training, Support and Progression

Job Description

Building Physics Engineer - To £45K

Rather than having to specialise in Energy, Sustainability or Environmental Analysis; you'll get involved in all areas and also receive full support and training in areas such as LCA, CFD or Digital Development.

As a Building Physics Engineer, you'll help model energy efficient buildings that maximise the use of daylight and natural ventilation and promote health and well-being.

You'll get to work on an interesting range of projects across the UK, US, Europe and Australia including schools, hotels, high rise residential towers, newt zero masterplans and places or worship.

You'll enjoy working closely with architects and engineers and help design the next generation of LZC or ultra-low energy buildings; and enjoy working for a consultancy that has always put the health and well-being of their own staff first.

Rather than just getting involved at the early stages, here you'll be involved in projects from the initial planning application, through detail design and then finally, construction. This will include carrying out Post Occupancy Evaluations and Energy Audits to compare the operational energy against the initial predictions and promote greater building performance in the future.

Rather than having to specialise in Energy, Sustainability or Environmental Analysis; you'll get involved in all areas and also receive full support and training in areas such as LCA, CFD or Digital Development.

  • At least three years' experience in a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of TM65, Part L, BB101, TM52, TM54, TM59 etc and the Circular Economy.
