An opportunity for a Mechanical Project Manager to be based in West London to deliver Phase 1 of 3 (Mechanical £7m) of a highly supported energy efficient Residential scheme that upon completion, will generate work up to 2028.

My client is an extremely steady and stable business boasting a secured pipeline of £40m for this year with other project awards imminent. They also demonstrate an impressive track record in staff retention where many staff have been supported and grown and developed from Apprentices.

Initially the Project will involve the build of an Energy Centre with upgrades to 260 new apartments where low pressure hot water (LPHW) will feed an underfloor heating system, also providing a boosted cold water service and water sprinkler systems. The apartments will be equipped with Mechanical heat recovery ventilation reducing energy costs.

Later stages will comprise of 900 energy efficient and carbon neutral homes including upgrading an existing energy centre for the entire development, with new gas-fired condensing boilers and combined heat and power (CHP) units to maximise energy efficiencies.

    I have a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join an international, MEP Design and Sustainability Consultancy based in London.

    Established over a decade ago, they are widely regarded as a leader in ESD / Green Building Design and launched a new London office in 2024, which has been a phenomenal success so far.

    Working with (i.e. not just working for) their Electrical Director, you'll be responsible for leading meetings, leading projects, and also assisting with fee bids and resource planning. You will be fully supported in the role, but not micromanaged. You'll see projects through from feasibility, design, all the way through to construction and post occupancy.

    This role will appeal to a Senior Electrical Engineer who enjoys autonomy and wants to have a huge influence over the future direction and success of the Electrical team.

    As you develop your own network and contacts (realistically over the next 6 - 12 months) you'll develop your own reputation and relationships with architects, contractors, managing agents and end users.

    You'll be rewarded with a basic salary up to £65K, an annual bonus of up to 10%, 25 days annual leave a hybrid working policy.

    Essential Requirements
    · 5 years' experience as an Electrical (Building Services) design engineer.
    · Previous experience working for a consultancy (ie Building Services, or multi-disciplinary)
    · Must be able to work in the UK without the need to be sponsored.
    · Willing to work from the office three days a week (Central London)
