Senior / Lead Mechanical Estimator – London (City)

Proud to be retained by a Director I have recruited for, for over 25 years to recruit a Mechanical Estimator for the London office.

Position:

Offering full autonomy where you will have daily access and a good working relationship with passionate owners of a extremely stable and progressive M&E Contractor who will support your every move. They are always in the news for the right reasons!

As a Mechanical Estimator you should be ambitious, hardworking and keen to develop your career to achieve Lead Estimator / Estimating Manager. status.

You will take responsibility for all aspects of a tender from enquiry to submittal. Projects could be a Pipework Package through to a complete Mechanical scheme ranging from £1-10m typically within Commercial, Residential, Mixed-Use and Healthcare schemes.

This role will suit an aspiring Estimator looking to step up or a seasoned Estimator who can demonstrate leadership whose next role is Estimating Manager.

    Requirements

    It's essential that you are currently working as a Public Health Engineer (ie a Plumbing Design Engineer, Hydraulics Engineer, or Sanitation Engineer) in a consultancy environment. You will need to be able to design hot and cold-water services, rainwater harvesting systems, above ground (surface water) drainage and be familiar with British Standards, regulations, and best practices.
