Junior Revit MEP Technician - Hertfordshire - To £28K
Are you looking to start your career as a Building Services Revit MEP Technician?
This MEP Design and Sustainability Consultancy are looking for an entry level Revit MEP Technician to join their BIM Team, which is currently six individuals. You'll benefit from a structured training and development program, interesting and varied projects, and a secure order book for the next 12 months.
They are looking for someone who can use Revit MEP; and ideally is aware of either Navisworks, BIM360, Bluebeam or Dynamo.
Reporting to the BIM Manager you will be responsible for producing fully coordinated drawings in Revit MEP for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, and water services / above ground drainage) and Electrical systems (lighting, containment etc) and liaising with the Engineers to ensure all projects are properly designed and coordinated.
In return they offer 25 days leave, pension, private medical cover, business mileage, annual bonus and a 37.5-hour week and hybrid working.
Senior Mechanical Engineer - £50-60K Package Flexible Working Annual Bonus Up to 42 days annual leave.

This Engineering firm are not a consultancy; and are also not, a design and build contractor. They collaborate directly with clients through all stages of a project's lifespan; and never issue a design unless it's 100% correct.
So rather than passing on the responsibility onto a contractor to finalise the design on-site, their inhouse team of multi-disciplinary engineers, architects and structural engineers work in true collaboration and get it right the first time.
Reporting to the Mechanical Director, as a Senior Mechanical Engineer you'll be responsible for designing, managing, and delivering complex projects; from feasibility all the way to commissioning.

As a result, they are now looking for a client facing, Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer who is able to work on a range of complex projects from inception, through to detailed design and handover. In addition to HVAC Design you will also have the opportunity of assisting with passive design, Energy strategies and above ground drainage ensuring you develop a true understanding of how a building goes together and how MEP services integrate with other disciplines.

The studio is in the heart of London, in a vibrant location close to major transport links, parks and an International shopping centre. You will get involved in a number of exciting projects including a £50 million mixed use development, £14M Hotel project (Refurbishment), £15 million luxury residential project (New build) and a range of smaller commercial, listed and education projects.

Reporting to the Associate Director, a chartered engineer who has been with the company for over ten years, she will support you in being responsible for leading projects, producing calculations, specifications and reports and attending client and design team meetings. Although this is a hands-on design role you will have access to a team of three Intermediate Mechanical Engineers to assist you with calculations, IES modelling and Revit ensuring your time is utilised effectively and that you are not having to work overtime.

It functions as both a commercial office and a significant tourist destination. Standing over 200 metres tall, it is one of the top five tallest buildings in the heart of the City of London
The role:
The main objective of the TSM role is to manage the day to day running of the MEP & Energy Services within the building by fostering strong relationships with the stakeholders, ensuring consistent, seamless, and efficient standards are met, which will guarantee the client's, occupiers and their visitors can focus on their business.
You will work collaboratively with other engineers and the onsite management team, to continuously improve your technical knowledge and competencies. Sharing knowledge is key in enabling our service partners, engineers, and occupiers to provide the very best solutions
The TSM will familiarise themselves with the client's sustainability strategy and be responsible for the development of engineering policies, strategies and implementation plans that meet the building needs and exceed occupiers' expectations
You will assist in managing the MEP service partners performance, to ensure they provide the services within the scope, budget and in accordance with their contractual obligations, service level agreements and KPIs
Working closely with third party consultants across projects covering retrofit projects, energy efficiency and the general project work that will occur across the site
Requirements:
You would have worked within the building services industry and be conversant with industry standards relating to building services operations from such organisations as BSRIA, CIBSE etc
You will continue to keep up to date with all industry standards, best practice, and guidance. You will familiarise yourself with all new publications relevant to building services operations, maintenance, asset management and sustainability and provide advice to the rest of the business unit
The TSM will have experience in delivering engineering excellence through robust asset management.
