Due to an influx of new projects within the education, commercial, healthcare and industrial sectors we are urgently looking for an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer for our Cambridgeshire office. With a global presence and a history of consistently delivering innovative projects; and a structured training and development program in place; you will receive all the training, support and guidance you require to become a Chartered Engineer in the short term.

Working in a friendly and stable team of circa 20 MEP and Sustainability Engineers; you will enjoy a fast paced role and the opportunity of getting involved in a range of large scale and technically challenging projects.

As a group; they have experience of steady growth and are confident that 2012 will see them growing the MEP Team and also further strengthen their market share and reputation within East Anglia and the South East.

It is likely that the successful Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer will have at least 3 years experience as a consulting engineer and be familiar with carrying out electrical load assessments, cable sizing, containment sizing, lighting design, designing UPS systems, NES specifications, site surveys, attending design team meetings and be familiar with a range of software such as Amtech, Dialux or Cymap. Whilst not essential; individuals who have gained site / practical experience prior  to moving into consulting would have a slight advantage.
