Are you tired of working long hours on the same types of projects? Frustrated with no recognition or reward for your loyalty? Do you feel like there is no room to progress within your current firm? Would you prefer to work for a company that considers their employees to be their greatest assets? Then read on….

We are working with one of the largest, building services consultancies in the UK to find them a solid Intermediate to Senior Mechanical Engineer for their London office.

With a network of over 10 offices across the UK, a CIBSE approved training and development program and over a decade as a “Investor in People” they have a reputation for attracting, developing and promoting their staff. This is demonstrated by the fact that over half of their current Equity Partners started off as Graduate Engineers or Apprentices and have been fast tracked through the business.

Reporting to a Partner or Associate, you will be responsible for using a range of software such as Revit MEP, IES and Hevacomp to produce coordinated drawings, diagrams, designs calculations, schematics and scopes of work across a number of major commercial, mixed use, high rise residential, defence or education projects. You will also be responsible for leading meetings, monitoring project hours versus fee income and integrating mechanical services with low or zero carbon technologies on projects.

The Intermediate to Senior Mechanical Design Engineer must be degree qualified, have a minimum of four years UK experience, a broad range of project experience across both new build and refurbishment projects and be able to design, co-ordinate, and deliver projects independently.

In addition to a pension, 4 x life assurance, private healthcare, an interest free season ticket loan and a CIBSE approved training and development programme they also operate a 35-hour week and hold regular social activities. REF 1508
